  • Our PowerPlay robot, Petrisor, was built in 2022. It was a simple robot, with a simple design, but it was the first step in our journey. It was built with the help of our mentor, Petrisor, who is also the robot's namesake.

    It was a great robot, and it helped us win the Think I award, but we knew we could do better.

  • Petrisor's intake also functioned as an outtake, able to grab a cone and swing it over the top of the robot to score easily on the back side of the robot.

    Petrisor's unique but different design meant that the autonomy cycles involved minimal movement, as the robot picked up the cones from the stack and placed them backwards.
